It's raining. This was a bad thing last week when I realized the downspouts were draining into my foundation and were the cause of the mold and mildew inside my house. Today I'll call it a good thing because I see that the core pipe I ran from the gutters down to the creek moves a lot of water away from the house. Next week I'll trench it in so it can stop being a tripping hazard.
I don't really feel like trenching in the rain, that should be a summer thing really, but the geese and duck need to move, and their house will sit exactly where the 3" pipe crosses the yard. I would like to think they will appreciate my efforts, but in all likelihood they will scold me for taking them away from their comfort zone. In their minds they have had too many moves recently. I don't blame them, moving sucks.
